Haskins Family Farm is a small diversified family farm that raises free range chicken, turkey, eggs from free range hens, and pork products (cuts and sausage). All our animals are raised on pasture where they get fresh air, sunshine and lots of room to move. What makes us different? Small & Sustainable Our farm is only 14 acres and we will only grow what we can responsibly. Our animals are grown in small batches and we enjoy our time with them. We have never considered using hormones or antibiotics as growth accelerants.Our animals take longer to grow to size but in the end the result is a better product for us and the enviornment. Humane We get a great deal of joy interacting with all the animals on our farm. We are happy to give them what they deserve: fresh water, plenty of food, fresh air and lots of space to roam. In other words the animals are treated humanely. We treat them with respect and care. Local At this time we sell within our region and only travel 80 miles at most. Taste Our products are far superior to what you will find in your local grocery store. Our animals are outside enjoying fresh air and sunshine. They eat all things green and bugs too. The exercise they get by moving around freely from food to water to shelter makes a happier critter and in the end a better tasting product. Customer Service We enjoy meeting our customers and talking about what we do. Even our kids can recommend how you cook your purchases. We feel strongly that the local food connection benefits everyone and we enjoy creating and growing those relationships.
